We’ll start the day at 7 a.m. and continue until 6:00 p.m.
This is an individual stroke play tournament.
Each golfer can play as many holes of golf as they wish; however there is only one opportunity to win the hole in one contest on hole #11.
Golf carts will be assigned to pairs of players. Players are not required to stay with the same golf cart throughout the day.
Holes do not have to be played in sequence… for instance, you can play Holes 1, 2, and 3 then jump to Hole 7 or 10 if there are players ahead of you. The idea is to play as many holes as possible as quickly as possible.
Scores will be kept by over or under par on each hole… a par would be “0”, a birdie would be a “-1” and a bogey would be a “+1” and so on…e.g., on a par 4, you make a five, you will put down +1 on your scorecard; if you make a 3, you will put down -1.
If your ball is lost or out-of-bounds, you may drop a ball close to the point where it disappeared or went out-of-bounds and add 1 additional penalty stroke to your score.
Putts “within the leather” or less than 2’ are considered good. This means you can presume you would have made the putt and now move on to the next hole.
If you need anything please do not hesitate to ask. It is our goal to make this a memorable day of golf for you.
Thank you for playing today and supporting A Line in the Sand Ministries. We sincerely appreciate the support.
